Sherry
St. John grew up on a horse farm in New Jersey, where her family bred,
showed, and trained Quarter Horses. As a young girl, Sherry would go
shoeing with her father, who is now one of the top farriers in the world.
She can still remember bouncing down the road in her father’s work truck,
listening to country music. Crystal Gayle and Loretta Lynn were two
of her favorites. It’s no wonder Sherry says, "I just love to sing about
country"..... "I've loved to sing my whole life, and I was influenced
by country music from a very young age."
Sherry
has been writing songs and gaining experience singing at events. She
had the opportunity to sing at this year's CMA Fan Fair. She has also
been performing at a number of fundraisers for causes that she holds
close her heart - causes like the SPCA
.
Sherry
continues to pursue her dream and has been regularly traveling to Nashville
to work with
accomplished singer/songwriters, such as Wynn Varble (wynnvarble.com)
and Steve Dean.
